legal

uhhh im no lawyer but lets give this a shot:

we collect data about your orders. this should be obvious. whats less obvious is the other data we collect. this site is running on Prestashop, a piece of open source ecommerce site software. Prestashop (software), collects analytical data not associated with any given order. i dont *think* this data gets sent to Prestashop (company) but i could be wrong. it is reasonable to assume generic overall store analytics may be sent to Prestashop (company). if you think this is invasive, i will point to any Shopify site. they collect significantly more data and i wouldnt be surprised if Shopify (company) receives a lot of that data. they just dont tell you about it.

we will never sell any of the data we may collect. i guarantee this with my life. you will find me dead before you find me selling data.

we use Stripe to process payments. i dont know why, we just do. Stripe probably collects a bunch of data and sells it but i would assume most if not all major payment processing platforms do the same. womp womp.
